❓ Sıkça Sorulan Sorular
1. Okuduğunu anlama sorularında bilmediğim kelimeler çıkarsa ne yapmalıyım?
Panik yapmayın. Bilmediğiniz kelimenin anlamını cümledeki diğer kelimelerden, örneklerden, zıt anlamlılardan veya metnin genel anlamından tahmin etmeye çalışın. Kelime size çok önemli görünmüyorsa atlayıp devam edin. Önemli bir kelimeyse ve tahmin edemiyorsanız, soruyu cevaplamak için diğer ipuçlarını kullanın.
2. LGS'de okuma parçaları ne kadar uzun?
LGS İngilizce'de okuma parçaları genellikle orta uzunluktadır (50-100 kelime arası). Her parça için 2-3 soru sorulur. Paragraflar 8. sınıf seviyesine uygun kelimelerden oluşur.
3. İngilizce okuma becerimi nasıl geliştirebilirim?
Bol bol İngilizce metin okuyun. Seviyenize uygun kitaplar, hikayeler, haberler, blog yazıları okuyabilirsiniz. Okurken bilmediğiniz kelimelerin altını çizin, anlamını tahmin etmeye çalışın, sonra sözlükten kontrol edin. Her gün en az 15 dakika İngilizce okumaya çalışın.
4. Ana fikri nasıl bulabilirim?
Ana fikir, metnin tamamını özetleyen en genel cümledir. Genellikle paragrafın ilk cümlesinde veya son cümlesinde bulunur. "Bu metin ne hakkında?" sorusuna verdiğiniz cevap ana fikirdir. Detayları değil, genel konuyu düşünün.
5. Çıkarım sorularını nasıl cevaplarım?
Çıkarım soruları metinde açıkça yazmayan ama ipuçlarından anlaşılan bilgileri sorar. Karakterin duyguları, olayın sonucu, yazarın amacı gibi. Metindeki ipuçlarını (karakterin söyledikleri, yaptıkları, hava durumu, zaman gibi) kullanarak mantıklı bir tahmin yürütün.
